Influence of Volume-to-Surface Area Ratio on the Creep Behavior of Steel Fiber Ceramsite Concrete Beams

To explore the influence of volume-to-surface area ratio (V/S) on creep ceramsite concrete beams, performance beams with different V/S was studied through a long-term deformation observation test, theoretical derivation analysis and finite element modeling. First, by observing deflection five V/Ss for 180 days, relationship between loading time as well were obtained. Then, referring to ACI209 ACI435 coefficient calculation formula, theory involving established. Finally, numerical model built according test parameters. The results showed that growth rate increased rapidly in early stage, but gradually slowed down passage tended be stable after 120 days loading. had significant impact beams. In first 7 each beam approximately same. Thereafter, higher was, lower became. After 28 varied sharp differences. exceeded 30, increasing could effectively reduce value under load. calculated good agreement measured values, which fully reflected its variation. simulation further verified reliability formula.
